How it works

  1. Read a short lessonEach topic explains one idea in plain words, with small examples and practice exercises.
  2. Run the examplesOpen any example in the editor, press Run, change it and run it again: the best way to learn is to try.
  3. Write your own programsA real compiler and terminal in your browser: type input, read and write files, and get errors explained in simple words.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Every tutorial and every editor is free to use, with no account and nothing to install.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The compilers and interpreters run inside your browser: open a lesson or an editor and start writing code.

Is my code uploaded?

No. Your programs are built and run on your own device, and your projects are saved only in your browser.

Which language should I learn first?

Python is the gentlest start. C shows how computers work underneath, C++ builds on C for larger programs, and Rust is modern and safe. Every tutorial starts from zero.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The lessons and the editors work on phones and tablets as well as on computers.
